Terms & Conditions

Last updated 5 August 2026

These terms cover your use of this website. Please read them before using the site. Any quote or installation we provide is governed by a separate written quotation and contract, not by these website terms.

02Using this website

You may use this site for your own personal, non-commercial use and to enquire about our products and services. You agree not to misuse it, attempt to gain unauthorised access, or use it in any way that is unlawful or that could damage the site or its availability to others.

We may restrict or withdraw access if these terms are breached.

03Our information is a guide, not an offer

The information, product descriptions and photographs on this site are provided in good faith to give you a general idea of what we supply and fit. They are illustrative. They do not form a binding offer, or a guarantee of any particular specification, finish or price.

Some photographs come from our manufacturers and show the style of product rather than a specific installation of ours. Colours also shift between screens, so match a finish from a physical sample rather than from a photo.

04Quotes, surveys and pricing

Any prices or guidance on the site are indicative. A firm price is only given in a written quotation after a home survey, and is subject to the terms set out in that quotation and our installation contract.

We are not VAT registered, so the price we quote you carries no VAT on top.

05Your right to cancel

Where you sign up for work during a visit to your home, the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 give you 14 days to cancel without giving a reason. Your written contract sets out how to do that and includes a cancellation form.

If you ask us in writing to start work inside those 14 days and then cancel, you may have to pay for what has already been done. Windows and doors made to your measurements and choices are custom-made goods, and the right to cancel does not apply to them once they are in production. We will make clear at the point of order where that applies.

06Guarantees

Every installation carries a 10 year guarantee from us covering the products and the workmanship, backed by an independent insurance-backed guarantee so the cover stands even if we stop trading. Where an installation needs building control sign-off, we arrange it and hand you the certificate.

The guarantee applies as described in your written contract, which is the document that governs it. None of it affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

07Intellectual property

The content of this site, including text, layout, photographs, graphics and logos, is owned by us or our suppliers and is protected by copyright. You may not copy or reuse it without our permission, other than for your own personal reference.

08Links to other websites

Where we link to other websites, we do so for convenience. We are not responsible for their content, or for how they handle your information.

09Our liability

We take care to keep the information on this site accurate and the site available, but we do not guarantee it will always be error-free or uninterrupted. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of, or inability to use, this website.

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited or excluded under the law. Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected.

10If something goes wrong

Tell us first. Call 0115 822 4398 or email info@bridgfordswindows.co.uk and we will look into it and come back to you. Most problems are quicker to sort out that way than through anyone else.

11Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and any disputes will be subject to the courts of England and Wales.

12Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they were last changed.
