If you want the slimmest frames, the biggest glass or a specific RAL colour, aluminium is worth it. For a straightforward, well-insulated replacement on a budget, uPVC is usually the better value. We are happy to price both.
Do aluminium frames get cold or damp?
Ours are thermally broken, meaning there is an insulating barrier through the frame. That keeps the inside face warm and cuts down the condensation you might expect from older aluminium.
