Privacy policy

How we collect, use and protect the personal information you share with us when you use this site or ask for a quote.

Last updated 23 July 2026

This policy explains what personal information Bridgfords Windows & Doors LTD collects when you use this website or ask us for a quote, how we use it, and the rights you have over it.

01Who we are

Bridgfords Windows & Doors LTD ("we", "us", "our") is the data controller for the information you share with us. We supply and fit windows and doors across Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire, Leicestershire and Rutland.

You can reach us at 15 Ludlow Hill Rd, West Bridgford, Nottingham NG2 6HF, by phone on 07557 735771, or by email at info@bridgfordswindows.co.uk.

02The information we collect

When you fill in our quote or contact form, we collect the details you give us — normally your name, email address, phone number, and any information about your property and the work you are enquiring about.

When you visit the site, our hosting and analytics also record limited technical information, such as your approximate location, device and browser type, so we can keep the site running and understand how it is used.

03How we use your information

We use the details you give us to reply to your enquiry, arrange a home visit and survey, prepare and send you a written quote, and carry out any work you go on to order.

Our lawful bases for this are taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, performing that contract, and our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries and running our business. We do not use your information for automated decision-making.

04Cookies and analytics

This website uses privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics to count visits and see which pages are popular. It does not use advertising or tracking cookies, and it does not build a profile of you.

Any strictly necessary cookies are used only to keep the site working.

05Who we share it with

We never sell your information. We share it only with the trusted service providers that help us run the site and respond to you — our website host, our form and email delivery provider, and our database provider — who act on our instructions.

Where you go ahead with work, we may share what is needed with the fitters and suppliers involved in your job. We will also disclose information if the law requires it.

06How long we keep it

We keep enquiry details for as long as we are dealing with your enquiry. Where you become a customer, we keep records of the work for up to six years afterwards, to honour guarantees and meet our legal and tax obligations. Enquiries that do not go ahead are deleted once they are no longer needed.

07Keeping it secure

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information against loss, misuse and unauthorised access. Information is stored on secure, access-controlled systems.

08Your rights

You have the right to ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to or restrict how we use it, and to receive it in a portable format.

To exercise any of these rights, email us at info@bridgfordswindows.co.uk. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.

09Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
